Veepro Holland

Veepro Holland is the Information Centre for Dutch Cattle. Main goal of the organisation is to support the export of Dutch genetics. Dutch genetics refer to breeding cattle (mainly pregnant heifers of the Holstein-Friesian breed), semen and embryos.

Co-operating in Veepro Holland are the Product Board for Livestock and Meat (PVV), the Dutch Association for the Export of Cattle, Semen and Embryos (N.V. ExportNet) and the Cooperative Cattle Improvement Association (CRV). All these organisations are represented in the Board of Veepro Holland and they are financing the organisation.

Veepro Holland is therefore an organisation of the Dutch cattle (mainly dairy) sector and is furthermore working closely together with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation (EL&I), the Animal Health Service (GD), the Dutch Association for Livestock Trade (NBHV), the Cattle Committee of the Farmers Union (LTO) and the Association of Exportstables for Breeding Animals (VEF). All these organisations are represented in the Board of Veepro Holland by an advisory membership.
