Veepro Holland, the Information Centre for Dutch Dairy Cattle supports the export of dairy cattle, semen and embryo’s from the Netherlands.
As of 15 February 2012, The Netherlands is officially free from bluetongue type 8. Once the bilateral certificates are adapted, this will facilitate the movement of livestock from the Netherlands to other countries. All Bluetongue type 8 restrictions on exporting breeding cattle from the Netherlands are lifted as of this date.
